Field of vision
or visual field (extent of side vision) is that
portion of space in which objects are simultaneously
visible to the steadily fixating eye.
Perimeter is an instrument used to measure the field
of vision.
The boundaries of the visual field are approximately
65 degrees superiorly, 100 degree temporally, 75
degrees inferiority & 60 degrees nasally.

Perimetry is performed in Sankara Nethralaya using
the AUTOMATED HUMPHREY FIELD ANALYZER (HFA)
Diagnosis will be based upon correlation of visual
field report with the Clinical presentation of
a disease.
