Title:

Activities of Lysyl oxidase (LOX) and Matrix metalloproteases in cultured Bovine Retinal Pigment epithelial cells-Role of Retinoic acid in their regulation.

Scope

	To study the effect of oxidative stress and hyperglycemic effect on the expression of LOX.
	To quantify the LOX in ocular tissue in normal and diseases condition.

Duration : Three years

To understand the mechanism of LOX mediated alteration of extracellular matrix in ocular diseases.
