She completed MS Ophthalmology from Banaras Hindu University Varanasi in 2004 and Cornea fellowship from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai in 2006 .She was conferred the Jayaben Chamanlal. Shah Endowment for the best outgoing fellow in 2006. . She has several publications in national and international journals. She is working as a Senior Consultant, Cataract ,Cornea and Refractive surgery Services at Sankara Nethralaya Kolkata. She has presented various papers and posters in several national and international conferences.
