Dr Parthapratim Dutta Majumder is a distinguished ophthalmologist with extensive qualifications and recognitions in the field. Having completed both his graduation and post-graduation from Silchar Medical College & Hospital, Assam University, he finished a fellowship in Medical Retina and Uvea from Sankara Nethralaya. Dr. Majumder's contributions to ophthalmology extend beyond clinical practice; he has authored chapters in renowned books such as the Wills Eye Atlas and serves as the editor of "INSIGHT," the scientific journal of the Medical and Vision Research Foundation. His commitment to advancing the field is evident through his active participation in various national and international conferences, where he has presented papers on topics ranging from medical management of uveitis to phacoemulsification in uveitic cataracts.
