Dr. Reni Philip completed her MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Trivandrum and MS from Govt. Medical College, Kottayam. She did her clinical research and glaucoma fellowship from Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai where she was the best outgoing anterior segment fellow. She worked as an associate consultant in Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai from 2019 to 2024 and has joined as Consultant in Sankara Nethralya, Kolkata from 2025. She has publications in peer reviewed national and international journals, been a reviewer for international journals, chief instructor for national conferences and is a contributor for editing chapters in the South Asian edition of the internationally acclaimed “Shields text book of glaucoma”. In addition to her passion for research and teaching, she is also committed to providing the best possible care for her patients

• 2021- Indian contributor-for editing chapters in Shields textbook of glaucoma South Asian edition 2021 (ISBN-9789389859966).
• 2023- Ruby Banik memorial award for the best research in clinical science in ophthalmology, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai
