A Consultant in the Department of Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Dr. Shema Rafeek has over 6 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology. She did her MBBS from JIPMER, Puducherry; MS from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai and Fellowship in Medical Retina from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Her practice encompasses general ophthalmology and medical retinal disorders. She performs cataract surgeries including phacoemulsification, small incision cataract surgery and extracapsular cataract extraction. She is involved in cataract surgical training and academic teaching of postgraduates and fellows. She is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
