She completed her MBBS degree course from Seth G.S medical college and K.E.M hospital Mumbai and post-graduation in Ophthalmology (DNB) From Mysore race club eye hospital, Mysore. She did an advanced cataract fellowship programme at Sankara Nethralaya Chennai followed by Glaucoma research and clinical fellowship from Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She has been practicing as a specialist in the field Glaucoma since 2018.
